Street on the Word is more than a standard newsletter; it is a place for authors of all skill levels and genre persuasions to connect and learn together! This is a space for writers, dreamers, creators.

I don’t like to think of what I provide here as “writing advice.” To me, it could more accurately be called “writing exploration,” and we’re all just a big party of pioneers, foraging deeper and deeper into the changing wilderness of craft with each new entry here.

I’ve designed this site to be more than just trite “here’s what you need to do” posts on writing. There are hundreds and hundreds of books, blogs, and YouTube videos out there already that provide prescriptive writing strategies, and if that’s what you’re looking for, there’s nothing wrong with that!

But if you’re looking for jumping-off points, little sparks of inspiration, or maybe some strategies you never thought of before to take your creative process and skills to the next level, I believe you’ve come to the right place, and I hope you’ll subscribe!

In addition to this resource, I will also be launching the Street on the Word podcast, where I’ll chat with other writers about their creative processes and connect with listeners who are in the trenches with us, working on the books of their dreams.
